Because Fox broke up with Krystal in Starfox Command, Krystal crying her eyes out, mourning the loss of her true love.
Why couldn't they have had their dates at Krystal's home? Fox should have stayed with Krystal.
I mean, like, if Fox is on a vacation, he could've flown his arwing to Krystal's home for a date, but no, he had to break her poor heart.

According to Wikipedia: [link]

Under the first portion of the article, it says that "Fox breaks off his relationship with Krystal by kicking her off the team"

And then under "Story", it says that "Fox broke off his relationship with Krystal by kicking her off the team, because he believed his line of work was too dangerous for her."

to proctect her, he kicks her off, breaking her heart, sending her away from fox. since he hadnt thought about what she wanted, he was only thinking of her safety, but if he hadnt been so blind, he would have kept her on the great fox, or he would have quit from the team and been with her, as i understand it.

That was a rather stupid thing for Fox to do to Krystal. Why couldn't Fox have her sit it out in the Great Fox ship instead?

My theory was that Fox was being a bit too overprotective. In the story I did so long ago, I had him finally revealing his reasons for his actions in which Krystal fully understood.

I believe the angel on his wing told him to keep her safe, it seems more realistic since nintendo made the starfox franchise and they always want kids to look up to heroes

Krystal belongs with Fox! Fox was just being overprotective when breaking-up with krystal. Fox should've thought about of their previous missions together. Then Krystal wouldn't of been mad at him for that. (I'm still at the level called, Venom: Krystal and Fox.) Missles are the hardest thing for me to destroy in the game.
